St Andrews Church, Hamble

A former Benedictine priory, now an active church with modern hall in the centre of Hamble

Our church building was originally a Benedictine priory, built by monks over 900 years ago and has been a place of worship ever since. It is now renowned as one of the most archaeologically and historically interesting medieval churches in Hampshire. We can provide accommodation in our hall which has toilet facilities and a kitchen, we can provide heating if necessary. The hall is next to the Church, which will be open from 8am the following morning for people to visit.. The hall can have provision for large groups up to 30 people. There are many restaurants and pubs in Hamble, a short distance from the Church / Hall

Pilgrims need to be aware they need to cross the Hamble by small ferry. The times vary during the year and it would be wise to check the time it starts running if leaving early i.e before 9am.

Access to the hall on certain evenings may be late if the hall is in use.
