Thomas Paine's Chapel

Non-conformist Independent Chapel hall in the heart of Lewes

We are the only remaining active Independent Chapel in Lewes once famous for its Independent Non-conformity, our hall is available to pilgrims seeking sanctuary. The clean, quiet hall has direct access to toilet facilities and a kitchenette. They also offer a stamp for pilgrim passports.

Children and dogs welcome. There are plenty of dining places within short distances as Chapel is in central Lewes next to the Castle. Single gender space may be possible on request depending on other bookings.
