St Mary's Church, Patrixbourne
Patrixbourne, Kent, CT4 5BP
Active Historic Norman Church known for its architecture and the Swiss Enamelled glass in some windows.
St Mary’s is fortunate enough to sit on not one but four routes and regularly sees Pilgrims from all over the world visiting. The North Downs Way, Via Francigena, The Old Way and The Royal Saxon Way all run through the village of Patrixbourne. Pilgrims visiting Patrixbourne will be able to stamp their Pilgrim Passport using the stamp located at the church. In late 2019 St Mary's Patrixbourne was awarded the silver level eco-church status.
We have limited facilities at present but we are hoping to build an extension with toilet, shower and kitchen soon. For organised parties access to facilities at the recreation centre can be arranged nearby.
Food is available in nearby Bridge or Bekesbourne village pubs.
