Sleep space is offered in the modern hall opposite the beautiful medieval church. The Parish Hall divides into two rooms. The smaller room is available to pilgrims. There is access to toilets, a kitchen with kettle and crockery and large floor space. There is central heating and electricity points. There is wifi. The Hall’s larger room is used for evening classes and a nursery school which opens at 08.00. There may be the option to camp on a mown grass field behind the Hall if preferred.
The Hall is opposite the traditional stone built Anglican church of St. John the Baptist. The church is usually open between 10.00 and 15.00 daily, sometimes longer. St John's boasts what is believed to be the oldest avenue of yew trees in England.
There are pubs, a fish and chip shop, co-op and chemist close by. Dogs would be allowed to stay. Bookings are taken on a first-come, first-served basis.
