St. Faith's parish church in Dorstone was reputedly built by Richard de Brito, one of the knights who murdered Thomas Becket, as penance for the murder. He also built the Pandy Inn in Dorstone to house the workmen who built the church. Items of interest in the church include stonework from 13th/14th C. Victorian memorial pulpit, 1865. Victorian glass (Clayton & Bell), 1889/94/1903 1905 - large oak reredos.
Evening meals are available in the Pandy Inn (01981 550273). Dorstone Front Room morning Coffee Shop offers bacon rolls on Friday am. For other supplies Londis Peterchurch Stores are 3 miles - pass through on the next Pilgrimage stage. Or various shops in Hay-on-Wye (6 miles).
