Shapinsay Kirk
North Church, Shapinsay, KW17 2EA
Sleep in Shapinsay Kirk, Church of Scotland and a member of the Presbytery of North East and Northern Isles.
We have been worshipping in our building since 1892. The building was modernised in 2012 and now provides a warm, welcoming and flexible space for the whole community to enjoy.
Pilgrims travelling along St Magnus Way end up in Kirkwall. You can then make a short hop by ferry to Shapinsay (only 25 minutes) and extend your pilgrimage experience to include the Shapinsay Reflective Routes.
There are modern kitchen facilities and a well-appointed toilet with handbasin for pilgrim use.
