Steeped in history and in the heart of Alfriston village, The Old Chapel Centre is a beautifully refurbished and intimate chapel, with its private walled garden and an interior unchanged for over 200 years. It now operates as a venue for ceremonies and events, offering a well-equipped and versatile space. We are pleased to offer you a safe space which is warm, dry and weatherproof and very accessible for the centre of Alfriston village close to shops, tearooms, pubs and restaurants.
You are welcome to lay out your sleeping bag anywhere on the ground floor and use our toilets and washbasins with hot running water. Kitchen facilities include fridge, oven, hob and microwave are available to prepare hot drinks and light snacks but bring your own food and drink. There is a general store in the village which opens at 8am and closes at 7pm.
