Parts date back to the C12th and it contains well-preserved wall paintings, one depicting the killing of Thomas Becket.

The village of Bramley is a mile away on foot or by bus and offers a pub, village shop, bakery and a train station.

Cross House is regularly booked for events and classes so accommodation and arrival/departure times will depend upon prior bookings. Return of deposit will be within 7 days subject to inspection of the premises.
