The Saints and Stones Ways – Pembrokeshire, Wales to Saint David’s. 21 years ago, Bishop Ivor Evans inaugurated the first Saint and Stone Way. His aim was to provide tourists, local residents, and others with a wonderful gift – the opportunity to experience the scenic beauty of Pembrokeshire’s beaches, mountains, and holy places through pilgrimage. As of 2016, there are now 5 different Saints and Stones Ways, involving some 52 churches seeking to welcome those of all faiths and none to this magical region. The Ways are of varying lengths and routes, but they all finish at the Cathedral of St David’s, taking in many hidden sanctuaries along the way.
