Travel Advice
Make your own way to the start of the ride at All Saints Church, Harby or to Newark North Gate train station and from the end of the ride at The Connection, near Trafalgar Square, London.
Transfers will be provided from Newark North Gate train station to Harby for participants, bikes and luggage. If you are travelling from the south, we can transport your bike and luggage by van from The Connection's premises at Trafalgar Square before the event starts.
The ride takes place along quiet country roads, urban pedestrian/cycleways and national cycle routes. Some sections are off-road but these are well surfaced.
What To Bring
Normal cycling clothes for a range of potential weather conditions. For the evenings bring a change of clothes, sleeping bag, carry mat and toiletries.
You will not need a fancy £5,000 carbon fibre bike but it must be fully serviced and road worthy. Spare inner tubes, puncture repair kit and basic bike repairs are essential. All types of bikes are suitable but given the condition of most roads, don't go too thin on the tyres.
