Everyone is welcome to join us for the National Pilgrimage to the Shrine of St Edward the Confessor on Saturday 16th October 2021.
The pilgrimage is part of our annual celebration of St Edward the Confessor, King of England and the re-founder of Westminster Abbey.
Throughout the day pilgrims will be able to pray at the Shrine of St Edward and in other spaces set aside in the Abbey.
Activities for children and young people will be offered in the Abbey, so families are very welcome. We also warmly welcome visually impaired visitors, those with hearing difficulties, and those with reduced mobility.
10:00am - Abbey opens for pilgrims
11:30am - Festival Eucharist, Preacher: The Very Reverend Michael Tavinor
3:00pm - First Evensong of the Dedication of Westminster Abbey
Attendance: All are welcome to attend and tickets are not required.
