Andrew (founder of the Augustine Camino) will be your guide along the last four miles of the Camino into Canterbury, visiting Bigbury Iron age fort (attacked by Julius Caesar), St Nicholas Leper Hospital Chapel with 14th century wall paintings and sloped floor for washing down after mass and St Dunstan’s from where Henry II walked barefoot in penance for the death of Thomas Becket and also the resting place of the head of Thomas More. We will arrive in time for a welcome at Canterbury Cathedral and Evensong.
