The Walsingham Walk

The Walsingham Walk is a 127 mile annual walking pilgrimage for Catholic men that has its roots in the 1948 cross-carrying pilgrimages, was subsequently taken up between 1952 and 2010 by the Guild of Our Lady of Ransom and, since 2011, has been organised by the Walsingham Walkers group.

Note: while this is a walking pilgrimage aimed primarily at Catholic men, nonetheless if there was someone who was not a Catholic but who was genuinely interested in the Christian faith, they would not be excluded from it, although we would expect them to participate in the spiritual as well as the physical side of the walk so that they get the full benefit of this particular pilgrimage experience.
