The Last Day of the Old Way

0-50 miles, 1-Day Pilgrimages, South East England

The Last Day of the Old Way – 7.5 miles – 1 day – Patrixbourne to Canterbury. Follow our PDF guidebook and digital route map as we walk the same paths that pilgrims once trod, via a source of pure spring water, a holy well located next to a ruined medieval chapel, the smallest town in Britain, and Canterbury, the home of Christianity in England and an ancient Roman city, whose streets have worn smooth with the footsteps of saints and pilgrims that have come here for over a thousand years. This day is the culmination of the BPT’s ‘Old Way’.
