The Chaucer Way from London to Canterbury Pilgrims’ Way – 68 miles – 7 days – Westminster Abbey to Canterbury Cathedral. The traditional pilgrim’s route inspired by Chaucer’s Canterbury Tales. After crossing Southwark Bridge, the route follows the Thames, then visits Greenwich Park, heading out through the suburbs to Gravesend and onward to the Medway towns, where the Saxon Shore is briefly followed, continuing via Faversham to reach Canterbury Cathedral, location of the Shrine to Thomas Becket.
